How to use
We recommend using a heat resistant glove while styling with the STYLPRO Red & Infrared Thermal Brush. The glove should be worn on the hand that is not holding the base of the hairbrush for added protection while styling.
How to use:
1. Start with dry, detangled hair. For optimal results, ensure hair is completely dry before using the STYLPRO Red & Infrared Thermal Brush.
2. Distribute your preferred 'heat protectant' through your hair evenly before use.
3. Depending on your region, plug the UK or EU power cord into the socket.
4. Long press the on/off button to turn on the device.
5. Short press the on/off button to increase the temperature. Always start on the lowest setting.
6. Allow the device to heat up to the desired temperature.
7. Divide your hair into sections, place the brush near the roots, and gently glide it down to the ends. Apply light tension and repeat as necessary for your desired style. Do not touch the scalp with this device.
8. Apply desired finishing product to hair for extra hold.
9. Long press the on/off button to turn off the device. Leave device to cool down before packing away.
Cleaning:
1. Ensure device is switched off and unplugged before cleaning. Allow the brush to cool completely before handling.
2. Gently remove any hair strands caught in the bristles using your fingers or a small comb. Take care when removing caught hair strands to avoid damaging the bristles.
Hazards and Cautions
1. We do not advise using this device if you are epileptic, photophobic, or light sensitive, if you are pregnant or have had skin cancer in the last 12 months, have undergone facial plastic surgery, have a metal implant, or if you are currently on your menstrual cycle.
2. For adult use only. Not intended for use by children. This is not a toy.
3. Wipe gently with a damp cloth.
4. Avoid storing the STYLPRO™ Root Renew in hot, humid, or damp areas.
5. If the STYLPRO™ Root Renew malfunctions or is damaged in any way, stop using it immediately. Contact STYLPRO™ Customer Service (See section limited two-year warranty for contact details).
6. Use LED lights with care. Extended use and prolonged exposure of LED lights into the eyes may cause damage. LEDs are not replaceable.
7. Do not use on sensitive, irritated or broken skin. Do not use on swollen or sunburnt skin or if you have any other skin conditions.
8. Do not look directly into the LED lights.
Test yourself for light sensitivity prior to using on your face:
1. Press the On/Off/SETTING button.
2. Place the device on your arm and conduct a 10 minute treatment.
3. After 10 minutes, turn the device off. Visually check the area. The area may initially turn red due to the heating of your skin but if the redness lasts for more than 2 hours, your skin has a sensitivity to light. Please discontinue use.
