Food supplement in the form of a hard capsule containing vitamin C in the form of calcium ascorbate, with rutin and rose hip extract. Calcium ascorbate has lower acidity than ascorbic acid, therefore is better tolerated by the stomach.

Rutin (also known as vitamin P or rutoside) is a bioflavonoid obtained from the Japanese pagoda tree (Latin Sophora japonica).
The human body is not able to produce vitamin C on its own, so it is necessary to obtain it from the diet [9]. Good sources of this substance are fruits and vegetables (such as red and green peppers, kiwi, broccoli, strawberries, and Brussels sprouts). Vitamin C can also be obtained through drinking juices, such as orange or grapefruit juice. Fruits rich in vitamin C often also contain bioflavonoids. Rutin is a naturally occurring flavonoid in many foods, especially buckwheat, apricots, cherries, grapes, grapefruits, plums, and oranges.
