Optrex Bloodshot Eye Drops are medicated to relieve redness of the eyes. Suitable for Adults and children over 12 years of age. Age Restriction Purchasing this product online is only suitable for those aged 16 years and over. If you are under 16 years of age and wish to purchase this product, please speak with a pharmacist in store. How to use Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use. Patient Information Leaflets are updated periodically by the manufacturer. FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Adults and children over 12 years: Gently squeeze one or two drops into each eye. Do not use more then 4 times in 24 hours. Frequent use for long periods may increase the redness of the eye. Hazards and Cautions IMPORTANT Do not use: If you are sensitive to any of the ingredients, suffer from eye disease (e.g. glaucoma), have had eye surgery, wear soft contact lenses as this may change the colour of your contact lenses. Remove contact lenses prior to application and wait at least 15 mins before reinsertion. Stop using and talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have: Allergic reactions such as itching and rashes, stinging or irritation, eye pain, changes in vision or increased redness, no improvement after 24 hours Consult your Pharmacist before use: If you are taking any medicines If you are receiving medical treatment for high blood pressure, depression, heart disease, diabetes or thyroid disorders. •hardening and narrowing of blood vessels or any conditions affecting the heart or blood vessels Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children. Storage: Store below 25ºC. Do not freeze. Discard 28 days after opening. Precautions This is a medicine: Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist. Seek advice before using if you are breast feeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suffer from allergies. Active ingredients Hamamelis Virginiana and Naphazoline Hydrochloride Ingredients Active ingredients: Hamamelis Virginiana (Distilled Witch Hazel BPC 12.5% w/v) and Naphazoline Hydrochloride 0.01% w/v.
