Boots Smooth Care Wax Strips are suitable for normal skin and for use on legs and body. The strips are ready to use and effective on the shortest of hairs* with smoothness lasting for up to 28 days. The easy-grip tabs help you to achieve perfect results in one easy move. Enriched with jojoba to leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. Included are two finishing wipes, to help you remove any unwanted wax.

How to use
1. Skin must be dry and free from all skincare products, make-up preparations or perspiration before treatment. Dusting the skin lightly with talcum powder before treatment can reduce the chance of the strips sticking to the skin and aid hair removal.
2. Separate the strip slowly, check there is the same amount of wax on each strip. Smooth the wax directly onto the skin in the direction of hair growth. DEPENDING ON USAGE, REFER TO THE APPROPRIATE SECTION.
LEGS
Peel off strip from backing sheet and smooth the wax strips directly onto the skin in the direction of hair growth and ensure the strip is well adhered. Holding the skin taut with one hand, IMMEDIATELY pull the strip back on itself very quickly, i.e. in the opposite direction of hair growth. Each strip is re-usable several times during a treatment, continue to use until strip is saturated with hair. DO NOT leave on the skin. DO NOT peel back cautiously. If the strip is pulled back quickly and the skin held taut, the hairs will be removed and minimum discomfort caused.
UNDERARMS
The underarm hair tends to grow in two different directions, so it must be eliminated in two stages. Stretch the skin as much as possible by placing your hand behind your head. Remove hair as described. Carefully check the growth pattern of your hair before applying the strip, it may be necessary to remove a few hairs with tweezers afterwards. DO NOT use underarm deodorant for 24 hours after hair removal.
BIKINI LINE
Bend leg outwards and apply strips on the inside of the thigh in the same direction as hair growth.
Continue to use until strip is saturated with hair. Do not store half used strips. DO NOT use on sensitive areas such as underarm or bikini lines until you have perfected the technique elsewhere.
Remove any wax residue using the moisturising finishing wipes provided or baby oil.

WARNINGS:
Please read all the instructions and warnings before using the product. Designed for use on legs, arms, underarms and bikini line. If product gets into the eyes rinse well with water immediately. BEFORE EVERY USE test a small patch on a small area you wish to treat, following the directions for use.
DO NOT continue to use the product if you find it causes a reaction. Waxing is not suitable for the elderly, diabetics, people who suffer from any skin related disorder, or people taking oral retinoids.
DO NOT use on varicose veins, moles, spots or irritated, broken or sunburned skin. May not be suitable for skin that bruises easily. Avoid use during pregnancy. Not recommended for use on facial hair or eyebrows. Slight discomfort or small red blotchy marks may appear after use. This should disappear after a few hours, if not seek medical advice.
DO NOT use on sensitive areas such as underarms or bikini line until you have perfected the technique elsewhere.
DO NOT sunbathe or use a sunbed for at least 24 hours after use. Wait 2 hours after bathing before use. Seek medical advice before using if you are on any medication which can affect the skin or if you suffer from any skin disorder. DO NOT use on sensitive areas such as chest, genitals or perianal area.
DO NOT wax the same area more than twice. Wait more than 48 hours before waxing the same area again if the skin is irritated. After waxing it is not recommended to apply deodorants or alcohol based products to the treated area for 24 hours after use.
