Boots Scar Reducing Hydrogel Burn Plasters - 5 Pack
For minor burns and scalds. Soothes and relieves pain. Hypoallergenic.
Boots Hydrogel Burn Plasters have a cool, moist gel on a film backing to treat and protect burns. These plasters create a moist environment which prevents hard scab formation to reduce scarring and promote healing. All Boots plasters are hypoallergenic, so they are kind to sensitive skin.

How to use
Immediately cool the burn under running water for at least 10 minutes. Pat the area dry before applying plaster. Replace with a new plaster at least once a week or more often if required, depending on the condition of the burn. To remove the plaster, press gently down on the skin and carefully lift the edge of the plaster around the burn, then carefully lift the plaster away.
How to apply:
• Once the burn is clean and dry, remove plaster from its wrapper
• Remove the protective liner labelled "1" and place plaster carefully over the burn
• Remove the second wing and smooth over the skin
• Remove the upper paper by peeling back from the central wavy line
• A white hydrogel will form over the burn
Hazards and Cautions
To help prevent infection, wash hands before use and after dressing the burn.
Should not be used on third degree burns. Bandages should not be used on highly exuding wounds.
Do not use on large or severe burns or on burns that are infected or bleeding. Seek medical advice in these cases.
If the burn becomes reddened, swollen or does not appear to heal, seek medical advice.
After a period, the dressing will dry out; this is normal and a sign of its proper function. Remove and replace the dressing if necessary.
Do not use if you have any known reactions to propylene glycol.
Do not use if the wrapper is damaged or if the gel has dried out.
Do not use after expiry date - see bottom of pack.
Use each plaster only once. Do not re-use product as this negatively affects performance and greatly increases the risk of infection.
Contents are sterile until opened.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Storage
Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight.
