Boots Fungal Nail Medicated Lacquer is used to treat mild fungal infections of the nails. Signs of a mild fungal toe or finger nail infection include:
Thick or brittle nails that are discoloured (white, yellow or brown)
The infection affects only the upper half and sides of the nail
Infection spreads slowly
This medicine is suitable for you if:
You have a mild fungal nail infection
The upper half or sides of the nail are affected
You have 1 or 2 finger or toenails affected

How to use
Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.
Patient Information Leaflets are updated periodically by the manufacturer.
Use only on your nails.
For cutaneous use.
Check that the seal is not broken before first use. If it is, do not use the medicine.
Adults of 18 years and over: Apply to the affected nails once a week.
Step 1: File down the infected area of the nail
Step 2: Clean the nail surface using a swab
Step 3: Apply the nail lacquer over the entire nail surface using one of the re-usable applicators.
Allow to dry for approximately 3 minutes.
Clean the applicator after each use.
It is important to continue using the nail lacquer until the infection has cleared and healthy nails have grown back. This usually takes 6 months for fingernails and 9 to 12 months for toenails. Check how the treatment is working every 3 months. If the infection has improved, continue the treatment. If the infection is the same or worse after 6 months for fingernails or 9-12 months for toenails then talk to your pharmacist or doctor. Do not use if you have shown a hypersensitivity to Amorolfine or to any of the excipients.
Hazards and Cautions
Do not use this medicine and speak to your doctor or pharmacist if:
You are allergic to amorolfine or any other ingredients in this medicine (see the package leaflet)
You are pregnant, might become pregnant or are breast-feeding
Your nail is moderately or severely damaged or infected
You have poor blood circulation in your hands or feet
You have pain or swelling around the nails
You have a weak immune system
You are under the age of 18
You have diabetes
You have dark stripes running down the nail
Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
Storage
Keep the pack away from heat. Keep the bottle tightly closed after use.
Precautions
This product is flammable. Keep the solution away from fire and flames.
