The Eye Doctor® Biodegradable Eyelid Wipes are ideal for cleaning away dirt and debris from the eyelid and eyelashes without irritation. The eyelid wipes are pre-soaked with a sterile, preservative-free saline solution to create an efficient, gentle remedy for daily eyelid hygiene.
Dr Hilary Jones (GP & Medical Broadcaster) says ‘the eyelid wipe is excellent for gently cleaning away debris from the eyelid and eyelashes. Good quality tears operate best when a thin layer of oil lies over the tear surface. This seals the tears preventing excessive evaporation. The oil comes from the glands in the eyelids. Daily eyelid hygiene is a key step in preventing various eye complaints and irritations’.
