Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) is a common condition that affects women of all ages. BV may occur when vaginal pH is unbalanced, and bacteria can flourish. This imbalance can be triggered by many different factors such as unprotected sex, a change of partner, hormonal changes including menstrual periods, pregnancy & menopause, douching or using perfumed products in or around the vagina and even stress. The symptoms of BV can be extremely uncomfortable and include odour, discharge, irritation, itching and discomfort. REPLENS BV symptoms Relief & Treatment Vaginal Gel provides effective relief from Bacterial Vaginosis symptoms for up to 3 days per single application. The unique formula is clinically tested to balance and maintain a healthy vaginal pH - this ranges between 3.5 and 4.5. REPLENS BV symptoms Relief & Treatment Vaginal Gel has a unique bio-adhesive complex that adheres to the vaginal wall for up to three days, continuously releasing pH balancing ions that rapidly and effectively reduce the pH to a healthy level. Each pack contains 3 pre-filled single use applicators, enough for 9 days relief and treatment of BV symptoms. Use every 3 days as needed. The applicators are easy to use, full instructions are included. Use at first signs or as prevention to reduce the risk of vaginal infections. If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your healthcare provider before use. Keep out of reach of children. For vaginal use only. This product is not a contraceptive and does not contain spermicide. If vaginal irritation occurs, discontinue use. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
How to use
Remove the applicator from the sealed wrapper.Grip the applicator by the thick end and shake down 4 times.Bend the thin end of the applicator to snap it off and discard the break-away tip.*DO NOT USE scissors or tools to cut the applicator tip.While sitting or lying on your back with knees bent, gently insert the open end of the applicator into the vagina.Squeeze the thick end of the applicator firmly 2-3 times to deposit the gel into the vagina. Remove and discard.See further advice and illustrations in the leaflet inside.
