As a French makeup artist, Laura Mercier is famous for creating what she calls the "Bonne Mine," that's French for the Healthy Glow. The look goes beyond a typical bronzed effect--skin appears naturally flushed, luminous, and filled with warm radiance. Laura now makes this coveted French look effortless to achieve with Bronze Colour Infusion. Apply using either Laura's quick One-Step Bonne Mine technique, which blends the two shades together, or the Traditional Bonne Mine technique, which provides a more targeted application by using each shade individually.
LES TECHNIQUES:
ONE-STEP BONNE MINE (BLENDED APPLICATION):
Simply swirl the Angled Cheek Contour Brush over both shades, desaturate brush on back of the hand, and apply over high points and centre of face.
TRADITIONAL BONNE MINE (INDIVIDUAL APPLICATION):
Sculpt-
Using the Angled Cheek Contour Brush, apply the matte Sculpt shade over cheeks, temples, and forehead.
Use what is left on the brush to sweep colour across the centre of the face, going over the nose.
Glow-
Next, apply the Glow shade over the cheeks and across the centre of the face, going over the nose.
PRO TIPS:
• For best results, apply after setting complexion with Translucent Loose Setting Powder or Ultra-Blur Translucent Loose Setting Powder.
• Apply a wash of Bronze Colour Infusion into the eyelid crease for the same bronzed glow on the eyes.
• To complete the Healthy Glow look, add Blush Colour Infusion to the high cheekbone for the ultimate flushed effect.
