Product details Hyaluronic Acid is naturally found in the body, in particular skin and joints and plays a key role in tissue hydration, lubrication and moisture retention due to its ability to bind water molecules and hold up to 1000 times its weight in water. It can also interact with other glycosoaminoglycans and proteins and has been shown to stimulate collagen production. Hyaluronic Acid starts to decrease from the age of 40 in the skin and joints, causing the decrease in skin hydration, skin elasticity and skin flexibility. When it is ingested it is reported to improve itchiness, smoothness and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
