Please always refer to the product for full safety instructions. If you have long or thick hair, use two boxes. Protect your shoulders with an old towel. Put gloves on for the preparation and for the application. 1. Squeeze the full tube of Colour Crème into the Developer Cream Applicator Bottle. With the cap screwed on, shake vigorously for 30 seconds to mix evenly. Break off the tip of the applicator bottle. 2. OPTION 1 – FULL HEAD: For virgin hair: apply on lengths first, massaging in and leave to develop for 10 minutes. Then, apply to roots section by section leaving for a further 30 minutes. For pre-lightened lengths: apply to roots first section by section. Then, apply through lengths massaging in, leaving to develop for 40 minutes. OPTION 2 – ROOT RETOUCH: Apply to roots section by section, including baby hairs. Massage roots to blend with previous colour to avoid demarcation. Leave to develop for 40 minutes. 3. With gloves on, apply water to hair and gently massage to emulsify colourant. Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear. Apply a generous amount of Brass Control Conditioner, leaving for 5-10 minutes. Rinse hair thoroughly and dry as normal. Hazards and Cautions SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS HAIR COLOURANTS CAN CAUSE SEVERE ALLERGIC REACTIONS Read and follow instructions. This product is not intended for use on persons under the age of 16. TEMPORARY “BLACK HENNA” TATTOOS MAY INCREASE YOUR RISK OF ALLERGY. Do not colour your hair if: • you have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp • you have ever experienced any reaction after colouring your hair • you have experienced a reaction to a temporary “black henna” tattoo in the past IGNORING AN ALLERGY CAN BE LIFE-THREATENING. You must conduct an ALLERGY ALERT TEST 48 hours before each time you colour even if you have already used colouring products before. So remember to buy the product 48 hours in advance.
