Boots Smooth Care Wax Strips are suitable for sensitive skin and for use on upper lip, chin and cheeks. The strips are ready to use and effective on the shortest of hairs* with smoothness lasting for up to 28 days. The easy-grip tabs help you to achieve perfect results in one easy move. Enriched with almond oil and vitamin E to leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. Included are two finishing wipes, to help you remove any unwanted wax.

How to use
1. Skin must be dry and free from all skincare products, make-up preparations or perspiration before treatment. Dusting the skin lightly with talcum powder before treatment can reduce the chance of the strips sticking to the skin and aid hair removal.
2. Separate the strip slowly, check there is the same amount of wax on each strip. Smooth the wax directly onto the skin in direction of hair growth.
3. Holding the skin taut with one hand, IMMEDIATELY pull the strip back on itself very quickly, i.e. in the opposite direction of hair growth and parallel to the skin. DO NOT leave on the skin. DO NOT peel back cautiously. If the strip is pulled back quickly and the skin held taut, the hairs will be removed and minimum discomfort caused.
4. Remove any wax residue using the moisturising finishing wipes provided or baby oil.
5. Each strip is re-usable several times during a treatment. Following the first use simply fold the strip in half and warm until the wax loses its stiffness. Continue to use until strip is saturated with hair. DO NOT store half used strips.
UPPER LIP
Treat each side of your lip separately, press on one strip and pull back towards the centre, holding the skin taut with the other hand.
CHIN
Hair on the chin is usually lying sideways or downwards. Smooth strips and pull back towards your nose.
EYEBROWS
Cut the strip to the to the appropriate shape. Pull back towards your nose.
CENTRE BROW
Smooth on strip and pull back towards the nose.
Hazards and Cautions
WARNINGS:
Please read all the instructions and warnings before using the product. If product gets into the eyes rinse well with water immediately. BEFORE EVERY USE test a small patch on a small area you wish to treat, following the directions for use.
DO NOT continue to use the product if you find it causes a reaction. Waxing is not suitable for the elderly, diabetics, people who suffer from any skin related disorder, or people taking oral retinoids.
DO NOT use on varicose veins, moles, spots or irritated, broken or sunburned skin. May not be suitable for skin that bruises easily. Avoid use during pregnancy. Slight discomfort or small red blotchy marks may appear after use. This should disappear after a few hours, if not seek medical advice.
DO NOT use on sensitive areas until you have perfected the technique elsewhere.
DO NOT sunbathe or use a sunbed for at least 24 hours after use. Wait 2 hours after bathing before use. Seek medical advice before using if you are on any medication which can affect the skin or if you suffer from any skin related disorder.
DO NOT use on sensitive areas such as ears or nose.
DO NOT wax the same area more than twice. Wait more than 48 hours before waxing the same area again if the skin is irritated. After waxing it is not recommended to apply deodorants or alcohol based products to the treated area for 24 hours after use. Keep out of reach of children.
