Boots Iron + Vitamin Liquid Formula has been specially formulated to be gentle on your digestive tract, fast acting and easily absorbed by your body. Containing a chemically organic form of Iron from Ferrous Gluconate, plus Vitamins B2, B6, B12 and C this formula will help maintain your body’s energy levels, as well as helping to reduce tiredness and fatigue. In addition to supporting your energy levels, Iron is a key nutrient that contributes to the healthy formation of red blood cells and supports the transportation of oxygen throughout the body. This product also includes Vitamin C which helps to increase the absorption of Iron and supports your immune system. Boots Iron + Vitamin Liquid contains no artificial flavours or colours and contains delicious fruit extracts to create a more pleasant taste. Our product can be enjoyed by all age groups from 3+ years. Free from Artificial Flavours and Colours. Lactose Free. Suitable for Suitable for adults and children aged 3 years and over. Suitable for those following a Vegetarian or Vegan diet. How to use Before use, shake bottle well. Use the measuring cup provided. Iron is better taken on an empty stomach to maximise absorption. Take approx. 30 minutes before a meal, or 2 hours after. For your little ones: Children 3-5 Years: Take 5 ml once per day. Children 6-12 Years: Take 10 ml once per day. Adults and Children over 12: Take 10 ml twice per day. Do not exceed the daily dose. This product contains high levels of iron so sometimes the ferrous gluconate (iron) can recrystallise on the inner cap. This residue is green in colour. This phenomenon is not harmful to the user and does not reduce the efficacy of the product.
