Abnormal vaginal odour, discharge, itching and discomfort are common symptoms of Thrush and Bacterial Vaginosis. This treatment contains a 7-day course of pessaries to treat fungal and bacterial vaginal infections whilst preventing the recurrence of symptoms.
Suitable for
The Boots Dual Action Thrush & BV Pessaries can be used by women from 16 years old.
The safety of use during pregnancy or breastfeeding is unknown.
How to use
Read the instructions for use carefully before using the product.
Women from 16 years and over: One vaginal pessaryone to be inserted vaginally for 7 days.
Hazards and Cautions
Consult with your general practitioner before using the treatment.
The symptoms may disappear after 3 days of use. However, continue using the pessaries for the recommended treatment period to prevent recurrence of symptoms. If the symptoms are improving but have not resolved completely after one treatment period of 7 days, treatment may be repeated for another 7 days.
If the symptoms to not improve at all or worsen after 5 days of treatment, please consult your general practitioner. Treatment can be continued during menstruation. However, in case of heavy menstrual flow, the effectiveness of the pessaries may be reduced.
