When you're suffering from a dry cough, but still want to get on with your normal daily routine, Benylin Dry Coughs 7.5mg/5ml Syrup has a soothing effect and relieves persistent, dry, irritating coughs. Suitable for Adults and children aged 12 years and over. Age Restriction Purchasing this product online is only suitable for those aged 16 years and over. If you are under 16 years of age and wish to purchase this product, please speak with a pharmacist in store. How to use Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use. Patient Information Leaflets are updated periodically by the manufacturer. DOSE: For oral use only. Adults and Children aged 12 years and over: Two 5ml spoonfuls four times a day. Do not give to children under 12 years old. Do not use more than 4 doses in 24 hours. As with all similar medicines, if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist. Hazards and Cautions WARNINGS: Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to. This medicine can make you feel sleepy. Do not drive while taking this medicine until you know how it makes you feel. See the leaflet for more information. This medicine can cause opioid-like effects when used at high doses. Can cause addiction. Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children. Storage Do not store above 30°C. Do not use if bottle seal is broken when purchased. Keep bottle tightly closed. Active ingredients Dextromethorphan Ingredients Active Ingredients: Each 5ml of cough syrup contains: Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 7.5mg. Also contains: Liquid glucose, sucrose, ethanol.
